Starting our trip

I think it's time I should post the first complete song I've written. This was a top moment of mine, full of hope and ready to face anything. Each word means stuff for me even if it's trully weird. Please don't expect that I would explain them.

I hope you like it:

Intro:
Am C D C
D C G Am

Verse 1:
Am C
Highway ahead,
D C
No doubt inside
D C
Shadow is brightening
G Am
Green goes the light

Am C
Speed up in happiness
D C
Blindfold the cries
D C
Love gives you wings (remember)
G Am
Making you fly

Chorus:
Dm Am
All of my life,
C G
Seeking a drop of shine,
Dm Am
Pushing the sadness of
C G
Dark past aside

Dm Am
All of those missing parts
C G
Found in the hands of time
Dm C
Filling your puzzle
G Am
Making me smile

Verse 2:
Am C
Now that I'm done
D C
Crossing that line
D C
Practice makes perfect
G Am
Glad I did mine
Am C
So now here I stand,
D C
Blind by your eyeshine
D C
Shouting "Geronimo"
G Am
Together we fly

(Chorus)

Slow Bridge:
Am C
Drawing a scenery
D C
Biting my lip
D C
Holding your hand
G Am
Starting our trip

(Chorus Hard)

That's it. It needs nice vocals in order to make it sound great, which I don't have.

My Equipment

These are the guitars I jam on..:

1. First one is a Lindo LTD "Fender Strat" design type, electric guitar. It was my first "for beginners" guitar, got it cheaply and I'm about to replace it when I get the funds. It's main problem is the strings' "height level". They are set high and this makes it difficult to play solos close to the top frets.. Never mind it's my first guitar ever and I'm in love with that. The sticker design pattern is mine and I think it gives a nice custom look to this specific guitar, doesn't it?

2. This is my Classic Guitar. It's an easy one to play on and has a nice sound for slow songs. I play songs with chords mainly here.

3. This is my Lindo LTD Blue Slim Electro-Acoustic guitar. It's great because it's a Slim design and it is extremely easy to carry on anywhere anytime plus it has an output to an amplifier so I can do some distortion rocking on this one too. In case you combine it with a mini amp, you can play distorted on the move! I love the looks of it  but it's also a "beginner" guitar so don't expect much from the sound of it.

4. This is my main electric guitar Amplifier. A Line6 Spider IV 75Watt amp with a ton of effects and presets on. It's sound is excellent and you can't play this in an apartment without annoying your neighbors (Mine have even called the police). Honestly you can make your guitar sound any way you like it to. Will get to purchase it's pedal once I get to collect the funds needed.

5. This was my first electric guitar amplifier. It's a Stagg 10 Watt amp with a MP3 jack in, plus phones out, plus a bad Overdrive channel. It's sound is not good, it is satisfying only for "beginners" who want a simple sound so they can learn how to play. Don't expect much from it.

6.This is my portable Marshall MS-2C 2 Watt mini guitar amplifier. It is a nice mini amp to play anywhere using my electric or electro-acoustic guitars. It feels good to play on a beach right next to the water without the need of power supply. It only uses a 9V battery and has both nice clean and distorted sound for it's size.

That's it. Soon I'll post some videos of me jamming.
I hope to see you back soon!

A New Man

Welcome to "Lonesome Guitarist" anyone!

This blog is mainly dedicated to all of those people who love music, express themselves through music and lyrics, write, sing, of play music, and feel that music is something more than just sound waves, entering through our earlobes, capturing our braincells..

My plans for this blog is to post some of the songs I've written, some videos of the music I play (warning here - I'm no expert on this, I just play), refer to some songs that really touched me or mean things to me and everything else related but not limited to the music I love.

The content will be updated as frequently as I have new ideas to share with you, so don't hesitate to check it out once in a while.

If you accidentally found this blog I hope you enjoy your stay!
In case you followed me here from my other sites, I'm pleased to see you again!

One way or another, this is Solid Snake and I hope you like it!
